Galleries
Jackson has a very lively gallery scene, as a walk around the town
square will prove. If you plan to spend an afternoon gallery hopping,
be sure and stop into the West Lives On Gallery, the Brookover Gallery and the Center Street Gallery, three of our favorites. |

Shopping
Shopping is another popular pastime - one can find many unique, locally
made gifts and products in Jackson's downtown area. But if you have limited time, be sure to make a stop into the Shops in Cache Creek
Square, on Broadway just across from the stage coach stop. You'll
find everything from shoes and clothing to furniture and locally made
Mr. Moo's ice cream. |

Ice Cream
Stop for ice cream at Haagen-Dazs just across from the town square;
it's located in the building that was once the historic Crabtree Hotel,
owned by councilwoman Rose Crabtree (of the progressive, all-female
Petticoat Government) and her husband, Henry, in the early-to-mid 1900s. Moo's home made ice cream is also great and located on the town square in Beaver Creek Hat and Leather, across from the Stage Stop |
