Breakfast
1) Bubba's is the place to fill up on country cooking. The homemade
biscuits and heaping servings are the reason there's always a line
out the door.
2) A Jackson institution, Jedediah's House of Sourdough is a must-try
for sour jacks, generous piles of sourdough flapjacks served in a
1910 log cabin.
3) The Bunnery is Jackson's old-fashioned bakery, where the sticky
buns are big enough for sharing and the sit-down breakfasts - like
enormous omelettes and huevos rancheros - will fill you up for the
rest of the day. |

Lunch
1) For mid-day margaritas and freshly prepared Mexican food, Merry
Piglets is our favorite stop. The service is friendly and fast, and
the upbeat atmosphere is fun both day and night.
2) Tucked into an old log home, Sweet water is a cozy spot for lunch.
They've got wonderful homemade soups and a fireplace for warming up
in winter. Our favorites are the gyro and the huckleberry BBQ pork.
3) The Rising Sage Cafe at the Wildlife Museum is one of our favorite
lunch spots. Hand-pulled beef brisket, cheeseburgers, and a fantastic
reuben are some of our lunchtime favorites. |

Dinner
1) If you're a fan of rack of lamb, then be sure to get a taste of
the best in town - and probably the whole state - at the Blue Lion.
The crab and cream cheese-stuffed mushrooms, and the bacon-wrapped
tenderloin are two more fantastic dishes.
2) The Snake River Grill is Jackson's special occasion restaurant,
and for good reason. The gorgeous log dining room, with its roaring
river rock fireplace, sets the stage for perfectly prepared elk chops
with roasted garlic mashed potatoes.
3) For a great, upbeat atmosphere and menu of can't-miss dishes, the
Rendezvous Bistro is our favorite spot. Nightly specials, an excellent
steak frite, and the only oyster bar in town draw in just as many
locals as smart out-of-towners. |
